Oklahoma Nurturing Evidence-Based Therapy
My goal is for you to walk away from our sessions with something productive to practice or think about.
Most people who I see do improve! They tell me it’s by far one of the best things they have done for themselves.
Clients come to me looking for genuine compassion for what they experienced on a deeper level & productive non-ruminating guidance & practical steps for a secure feeling of wholeness again.
With my background in psychology & sociology,
I understand both your inner world & the bigger picture. Together, we’ll explore the challenges around you & within you to build a meaningful, balanced life.
My hope is to empower you to become your own productive guide.
Maybe You Had Therapy Before…
But you are ready for something more substantial beyond regular talk therapy & a couple of skills.
I guide my clients step-by-step, building the skills to lower high anxiety levels.
Skills that support "in the storm"
And skills that alleviate the tension baseline (where you hang out most of the week).
I help my clients sort through thoughts & where the extra emotions originate.
I help their hearts dissolve the experiences that linger & make them feel unsettled.

Types of Therapy
Psychodynamic
Fosters gentle kindness and understanding into the depths of your experiences, uncovering deep memories, desires, and conflicts that shape your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, so you can cultivate rich self-awareness, understanding, and compassion, fostering profound personal growth and healing.
Mindfulness-Based Cognitive
Combines mindfulness practices with traditional cognitive therapy techniques to help manage and prevent relapse of depression and anxiety by fostering greater self-awareness and emotional regulation.
Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)
For PTSD. It focuses on addressing maladaptive beliefs and thoughts related to trauma, leading to symptom reduction and improved coping skills.
Somatic Experiencing
Explores how the body expresses deeply painful experiences, applying mind-body healing to aid with trauma recovery. It teaches people to feel safe in their bodies while exploring thoughts, emotions, and memories.
Written Exposure Therapy
For PTSD & trauma. Only five 30-minute sessions are as effective as the standard 20 one-hour sessions in other trauma therapies (EMDR). It also teaches how to deal with overwhelming situations. Most of my clients find that it restores their ‘meaning of life’.
